SEPTEMBER FLOODING: FEMA has set up a Disaster Relief Center at the Johnston Senior Center for residents to meet with the federal government regarding any damage sustained for the **SEPTEMBER 10-13th** flooding events.
The Disaster Recovery Center will open today, Wednesday, January 17th at 1:00 p.m.
The Town is still waiting to hear back on the disaster declaration from the December 18th flooding in addition to last weeks flooding.
Residents may walk in to the center for any questions or issues regarding reimbursement.
The hours of operation are:
Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 6:30pm
Saturday: 9am - 5pm
Sunday: CLOSED

Information on additional reimbursement available for the other two flooding events will be announced as soon as it is available.
Early in-person voting for the upcoming election will begin on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, and take place at the Johnston Land Trust Building at 509 Greenville Avenue.
Early voting hours:
· Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
· Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
· Please be aware that early voting will no longer be held at the Johnston Town Hall.
· The last day to vote early is Monday, November 4th, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
